She launched the brand to create jobs and uplift marginalized communities across East Africa. Today, Joreen Honey is sold both locally and internationally, including in the U.S. Her work in sustainable beekeeping and clean food innovation has earned her recognition among Africa’s Top 40 Under 40 and Kenya’s Top 35 Under 35. Through Joreen Brands, she continues to champion food security, climate action, and inclusive growth, one jar at a time

Joy Wanjiku is the Operations Manager at Joreen Brands, based in Nairobi, Kenya. She oversees the company’s supply chain, production, logistics, and quality assurance processes, ensuring efficient delivery of Joreen Honey to both local and international markets. With a strong background in agribusiness operations and export logistics, Joy plays a key role in maintaining product standards, managing vendor relationships, and supporting strategic initiatives like grant applications and product development. Her leadership reflects a deep commitment to sustainability, food security, and community empowerment.

Aurelia Wanja is a Sales, Marketing & Communications Manager based in Nairobi, Kenya, with experience in the agribusiness and FMCG space. At Joreen Brands, she leads the growth and visibility of the company’s flagship product, Joreen Honey, both locally and internationally. Her role involves driving sales strategy, managing digital and traditional marketing campaigns, strengthening the brand’s storytelling, and overseeing stakeholder communications. Aurelia brings a strong background in communications, e-commerce marketing, and social impact branding — with a deep passion for sustainability, women’s empowerment, and inclusive economic growth.

Dr. Chidubem Daniel Gbujie 

Global Health & Climate Innovator

Dr. Chidubem Daniel Gbujie is a Nigerian-born public health expert, climate innovator, and youth leader based in the United States. He currently serves as a Senior Clinical Research Associate at a Harvard-affiliated hospital in Boston and is certified in global health, clinical research, and bioethics from Harvard and other leading institutions.

As the Founder of Team 54 Project International, Dr. Gbujie has mobilized young people across Africa, Latin America, Asia, and Small Island Developing States (SIDS) to champion sustainable development and climate justice. He has also served as the Primary Policy Lead for the Coalition of African Young Professionals in Diaspora (CAYPND) and was the Ex-Focal Coordinator for Youth in Diaspora at the African Union Youth Envoy’s Office.

A passionate advocate for technology-driven climate solutions, he pioneered the award-winning SpaceClime app, which uses satellite data to address urgent environmental challenges, and is now in discussions with NASA’s SERVIR Global Program for wider implementation across Africa.

Dr. Gbujie has been recognized globally with awards such as the U.S. President’s Volunteer Service Award (2023), the Distinguished African Youth Service Award (2025), and selection by the UN Secretary-General as one of 500 Green Champions (2019). His leadership has been celebrated at the United Nations General Assembly, the World Bank Youth Summit, and through collaborations with UNICEF, the AU, and WHO.
